Miss Baker, a Brussels native, trained journalist and violinist, began slam poetry in 2022 with Slameke in Brussels. She has been invited to perform several times by Slameke, by the Chair Poétique at the Maison de la Francité in Brussels and the Corps de texte festival in Liège. Her slams are political or intimate, incorporating wordplay and rhythm.

Maria Kouvarou (m.ouv) is a Cypriot academic, musician and multi-disciplinary artist who writes and performs poetry in Greek and English. She has published three poetry collections, a novella, and participated in various anthologies. In March 2025 she was named Cyprus National Slam Poetry Champion.

Maria Kouvarou (m.ouv) est une universitaire, musicienne et artiste multidisciplinaire chypriote qui écrit et interprète des poèmes en grec et en anglais. Elle a publié trois recueils de poésie, une nouvelle et participé à diverses anthologies. En mars 2025, elle a été sacrée championne nationale de slam poésie de Chypre.

Maayan Or, 33. Actress, Improviser, writer and translator. Member of 4Play, an improv collective based in Tel Aviv. Currently a student in Sam Spiegel Film & Television School, and working on a one-woman comedy show.

Gabriele Ratano is a Rome-based actor, author and performance poet, Italian Poetry Slam Champion 2025.
He has performed internationally and collaborated with major cultural institutions and festivals in Italy and abroad.
He is a member of the poetry collective WOW – Incendi Spontanei, as well as co-founder of the theatre collective Algo Ceiba.

Gabriele Ratano est un acteur, auteur et poète performeur basé à Rome, champion italien de slam poésie 2025.
Il s’est produit à l’échelle internationale et a collaboré avec de grandes institutions culturelles et festivals en Italie et à l’étranger.

N’GBESSO Amoua Eunice, alias MALS, is an Ivorian slam poet and poet, studying for a Master’s degree in communication. Passionate about slam and poetry since secondary school, she began competing in national competitions at a very early age. Her first participation in the national slam championship, in her final year of secondary school, took her straight to the final.
She won the national championship title at the 10th edition of the national slam championship. Driven by her faith and a deep gratitude to GOD, she is now aiming for the world title.

N’GBESSO Amoua Eunice, alias MALS, est une slameuse et poétesse ivoirienne, étudiante en Master de communication. Passionnée de slam et de poésie depuis le collège, elle se lance très tôt dans les compétitions nationales. Sa première participation au championnat national de slam, en classe de Terminale C, la conduit directement en finale.
Elle remporte le titre de championne nationale lors de la 10ᵉ édition du championnat national de slam. Animée par sa foi et une profonde reconnaissance envers DIEU, elle vise désormais le titre mondial.

He returned to his roots and now writes mostly in Latgalian, officially described as a historical variant of Latvian, though Normunds treats it as a language with its own pulse. He still believes in true friendship and refuses to stop romanticising love. Hates labels, but ‘idealistic’ is the one he’d tolerate.”

MAHEFASOA Nacha, also known as AMPISAFY MAFIA, is a talented artist born on 24 February 2001 in Majunga. Since her artistic debut
in 2017, she has quickly made a name for herself in the world of slam and poetry. By participating in competitions highlighting crucial issues such as violence against women and the fight against drugs, she has demonstrated her commitment to social causes that are close to her heart.

MAHEFASOA Nacha, également connue sous le nom d’AMPISAFY MAFIA, est une artiste talentueuse née le 24 février 2001 à Majunga. Depuis ses débuts artistiques en 2017, elle s’est rapidement fait un nom dans le milieu du slam et
de la poésie. En participant à des concours mettant en lumière des sujets cruciaux tels que la violence faite aux femmes et la lutte contre la drogue, elle a montré son engagement envers des causes sociales qui lui tiennent à coeur.

Moroccan actor, director, author, and poet. A graduate of ISADAC in Rabat with a degree in acting, he was born in 1991 in Oujda and grew up in Jerada.

He also teaches drama. His writing, rooted in real life, gives voice to social injustices, the oppressed, and human contradictions. Moroccan Slam Poetry Champion 2025 and quarter-finalist in the African Cup, he is the author of several poetic and theatrical projects in Arabic and Darija. He works in theater, slam, television, and cinema, both in Morocco and internationally.

Comédien, metteur en scène, auteur et poète marocain. Diplômé de l’ISADAC de Rabat en interprétation, né en 1991 à Oujda et ayant grandi à Jerada, il est également enseignant en arts dramatiques.

Son écriture, ancrée dans le vécu, donne voix aux injustices sociales, aux opprimés et aux contradictions humaines. Champion du Maroc de Slam Poésie 2025, quart de finaliste de la coupe d’afrique, il est l’auteur de plusieurs projets poétiques et théâtraux en arabe et en darija. Il évolue entre théâtre, slam, télévision et cinéma, au Maroc et à l’international.

His poetry, which has already been featured on television stages and at cultural events across the country, combines powerful writing with intense performances, establishing him as one of the most promising voices of the new generation of spoken word in Mozambique.

Beyond the arts, he is an undergraduate student in English Teaching at UNILICUNGO and works as a teacher, thus uniting his passion for the word with the mission to educate. His presence on social media, under the pseudonym « Poeta Nicolau de Jesus Oficial, » extends the reach of his work, connecting him with an increasingly vast and diverse audience.

Sa poésie, qui a déjà été présentée sur les scènes télévisées et lors d’événements culturels à travers le pays, combine une écriture puissante et des performances intenses, ce qui fait de lui l’une des voix les plus prometteuses de la nouvelle génération de spoken word au Mozambique.

Au-delà des arts, il est étudiant en licence d’enseignement de l’anglais à l’UNILICUNGO et travaille comme enseignant, alliant ainsi sa passion pour les mots à sa mission d’éducation. Sa présence sur les réseaux sociaux, sous le pseudonyme « Poeta Nicolau de Jesus Oficial », élargit la portée de son travail et lui permet de toucher un public de plus en plus vaste et diversifié

A representative of Poland, born and raised in Kyiv. Studied Urban Architecture and often perceives poetry from an engineer perspective. Plays violin and drums, likes to walk but not run, sit but not stand. Practices slam poetry for more than 10 years.

Représentant de la Pologne, né et élevé à Kiev. A étudié l’architecture urbaine et perçoit souvent la poésie du point de vue d’un ingénieur. Joue du violon et de la batterie, aime marcher mais pas courir, s’asseoir mais pas rester debout. Pratique le slam depuis plus de 10 ans.

Rita began writing poetry as a child as a way of understanding the world. Over time, words became voice, and voice became a manifesto.

Her path crosses teaching, communication, and community work, where she seeks to use art as a tool for social and personal transformation. On stage, she turns her vision into rhythm, presence and emotion, using poetry as a form of reflection and collective awakening.

An anthropologist and volunteer at an immigrant support association, Julie Carmel is raising two children and a family of peacocks, trying to create magic in a world where the wind is blowing strong. She uses slam poetry to tell stories of love, failure, migration, and adventure, sprinkling them with extended metaphors and bitter laughter. Giant squids, too, when necessary.

Elle se sert du slam pour raconter des histoires d’amour, d’échec, de migration et d’aventure. Elle y glisse des métaphores filées et des rires jaunes. Des calmars géants, aussi, quand c’est nécessaire.

Aditya Narayan is a spoken word poet from Scotland. Originally from India, Aditya has performed poetry in the UK since 2024 and won some of the biggest slams that the country has to offer.

Aditya’s poetry draws on his multicultural and multilingual background, often connecting with people who find themselves cutting across identities in one way or another. He hopes that his words find a home in you.

Anyelo Zeña (Peru, 1989) is a poet and slamperformerbased in Barcelona. Trained in Philosophy, he writes and performs using metaphor and symbolism as territories of resistance. He is the author of Tengo una cita conmigo and the creator of the podcast Estación Café. Winner of Poetry Slam Llobregat 2025 and runner-up of Poetry Slam Spain 2025, his work moves through pain, memory, anti-racism and social commitment.

Auteur de Tengo une cita conmigo et créateur du podcast Estación Café, il est vainqueur du Poetry Slam Llobregat 2025 et vice-champion national de Poetry Slam Espagne 2025. Sa parole traverse la douleur, la mémoire, l’antiracisme et l’engagement social.

He discovered slam poetry in late 2024 and immediately fell in love with it. A father, lawyer and winner of public speaking competitions, he draws inspiration from everyday life, people and the moment. In May 2025, he won the French-speaking Swiss championship. Then, in July 2025, he won the team competition at the first Grand Slammerstein in Mulhouse. In November 2025, he won the famous Joutes Poétiques Granvillaises..

Il découvre le slam fin 2024 et se prend immédiatement de passion. Père de famille, avocat et lauréat de concours d’éloquence, il puise son inspiration dans le quotidien, l’humain et l’instant. En mai 2025, il remporte le championnat de Suisse francophone. Puis, en juillet 2025, le concours par équipe de la première édition du Grand Slammerstein de Mulhouse. En Novembre 2025, il remporte les fameuses Joutes Poétiques Granvillaises. 

Mercy is a young Togolese artist. Winner of a poetry competition in 2024, she discovered the slam scene that same year. Performing on stage and competing in contests, she won the Talent Show at Casa Italiana in Lomé and then the Mansa Group competition. In 2025, she was crowned national champion of patriotic slam in Togo.

Mercy, est une jeune artiste togolaise. Lauréate d’un concours de poésie en 2024, elle découvre la scène slam la même année. Enchaînant les scènes et concours, elle remporte le Talent Show à Casa Italiana de Lomé puis le concours  de Mansa Group. En 2025, elle devient sacrée championne nationale du slam patriotique au Togo.
