João Baptista Nguenha, jeune poète et enseignant de profession, de nationalité mozambicaine, est né le 1er juin 1989 dans la Namaacha. Il est diplômé en français de l’université Eduardo Mondlane. Il travaille actuellement comme professeur de français à l’école secondaire de Namaacha. En 2007, il a rejoint la Radio Communautaire Cascades de Namaacha en tant que collaborateur, où il a travaillé comme diffuseur, reporter et producteur de programmes. En 2015, il a fondé le groupe culturel Poetas do Monte, dont il a appris à se comprendre comme un activiste social à travers l’art et la culture. En 2018, il a participé au festival national de la culture à Niassa. A participé à la première édition de MozSlam,, ayant atteint la phase finale et s’étant classé à la deuxième place. En 2019- A participé à la deuxième édition de MozSlam- ayant atteint la phase finale et s’étant classé en deuxième position- résulte une invitation à participer à Poetry Slam Africa en janvier 2020 à Nairobi Kenya.
