Kathryn O’Driscoll est une poétesse, écrivaine et militante du spoken word de Bath, en Angleterre. Elle parle ouvertement des handicaps, de la santé mentale, des problèmes et des joies de la communauté LGBTQIA+ et de la politique de genre dans ses nombreux poèmes.
En plus de présenter des poèmes dans tout le Sud-Ouest, elle est également championne de slam à Bristol et s’est produite au Fringe d’Édimbourg, sur BBC Radio Bristol et a participé à l’émission télévisée de spoken word Life and Rhymes de Sky Arts.
Elle est titulaire d’un diplôme de première classe en écriture créative de l’université de Bath Spa et son premier recueil sera publié par Verve Poetry Press au printemps 2022.
Kathryn O’Driscoll is a spoken word poet, writer and activist from Bath, England. She talks openly about disabilities, mental health, LGBTQIA+ issues and joys and gender politics in her wide range of poems.
Aside from performing poetry across the South West; she’s also a Bristol slam champion who has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, on BBC Radio Bristol and was a featured poet on the Sky Arts spoken word TV show Life and Rhymes.
She has a first class degree in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University and her debut collection will be released by Verve Poetry Press in Spring 2022.
